A Zombie Bit Myffanie only exists because I talked myself out of writing a third Our Fathers book. The thing that makes writing Our Fathers books so much fun is the Northern Irish dialect. I still have not written a book based in Scotland yet, but I managed to convince myself to try and write a book using the Welsh dialect, and luckily for me it was just as much fun as writing Northern Irish dialect. Of all my books, Our Fathers and A Zombie Bit Myffanie, were the two that I absolutely could not wait to hear on Audiobook, and I honestly believe that Audiobook is the best way to experience both of them.

Simon Carr is a talented author. The story was well written and at a good pace. Chuckled several times. So engrossed I could hear the spoken words in a Welsh accent

This book is SO funny!!! Zombies, Co-op employees making up names for customers, and farts. This book has all of that!! I couldn't stop laughing at times.
I recommend you read this fast read when you are having a bad day.... or two.

First off I’m a big fan of the author’s books. Second I’m not a big fan of zombie stories because most are human hamburger stories IMHO. That being said I really enjoyed reading this book it is very funny. The main characters are well developed with all their fears and foibles on display. The Welsh countryside is the stage and is detailed to the extent needed for the plot. The humor is dark but it still had me laughing aloud in many places. I thoroughly recommend this to all adult readers especially those that love zombie fiction.

Mr. Simon Carr writes the funniest stuff I have ever read. This new book is no exception. I am not a huge zombie fan, and the Horror/Comedy genre kind of confuses me but this book I LOVED!! The characters are great to laugh along with and to laugh at, but not because they are stupid (that would be mean) they're just funny. I can't believe some of the situations these people find themselves in! I thought the zombie thing was getting a bit old, it seems like everyone is putting them in their books and movies. Never underestimate Simon Carr, he has a great imagination! He proves you can teach an old zombie new tricks. Thank you Simon, I am SO glad you are willing to share your talent with us!

Barry and his wife, Myfannie, are starting their normal Tuesday. Then all heck breaks lose as a passel of zombies are unleashed in their area of England. Now it's up to Barry with his wife's help to solve the attack of the zombies.
If you don't like to laugh and giggle do not listen or read this story. It is absolutely priceless and the story will having you shaking your head muttering "Really!?!?"
Fantastic story and listen.
PS Make sure you hit the bathroom before listening or reading!!
