Virtually Gone came about as a back story to how the satellite network that Khaos refused to live in as information at the start of Apocalypse Blockers was made. I only very briefly touched upon how people in the future don’t live as matter but as information inside of satellites that orbit the various stars in Apocalypse Blockers, so I wanted to expand on that and explain how such a thing could be possible. The network is an important part of the series story, so I wanted to explain it properly with its own book.

Since the birth of mankind we have been looking to the starts. We dream we build and now we travel to the outer limits of our space. We now have private space vessels that you can buy a seat on for a 4 minute ride to those outer limits. But this novel has you look at new way, in fact we have been looking the wrong way. Will this turn our world upside down? Are we prepared for this new reality? This is a brilliant read! It pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention. The world building is detailed and imaginative. This novel has strong, well developed characters and an interesting story line that keeps you turning the pages. I recommend this novel and would read more novels by this author

Another fantastic book by Simon. What's to say, really? Need a laugh? If you have a sense of humor and an open mind, its straight up guaranteed. I received this book for free and I voluntarily reviewed. Actually i asked for the arc because Simon said this book was a bit different than most of his other books- seeing as how I have never read a Simon Carr book I didnt find absolutely hilarious , I felt compelled to check it out. Well, different , yeah, Less crude, more thought provoking but just as freaking funny so thanks to the author

What can you say about the works of Simon Carr? Hilarious reading every time. My hubby refused to let me read this in bed. Again. I laugh out loud toooo much. Virtually Gone is somewhat different than say, Bob and the Blob, but different is good. And its really not that different , its just , well, deeper. I received a preview copy from the author and Story Origin, and promised to review. I only do that for books i am sure i'll enjoy because i really dont like saying negative things. Happily Simon fulfilled my expectations. If youre a fan, or never read this author before, if you enjoy a bit of humor, a tad crude at times - you'll enjoy this read. For those who care, Bad language. Nope. Poor editing. Nope. Just purely Simon at his humorous best.
